Authentication (Apostille)

Our office provides Authentication (Apostille) and Legalization Services to Canadian and International Corporations, Law Firms, Professionals, Adoption Agencies, Travel Agencies, Canadian Citizens and Foreign Nationals who require documents to be used in other countries. Furthermore, we assist parties who require Visas in order to enter Foreign Countries for personal, business, or adoption-related purposes.

Our office has been operating for over fourteen years, during which time we have developed the connections necessary to ensure that your documents and/or visas are professionally processed in a cost effective and timely manner.

Our office attends at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Development (DFATD/JLAC) each and every business day for the purpose of having Canadian documents authenticated for use abroad. By having our office attend at DFAIT on your behalf, we are able to have your documents processed in a fraction of the time it would take for mailed documents to be processed at DFAIT. Furthermore, we are able to keep our clients up to date in a timely manner with the status of their documents.

You may also seek the help of our Calculator & Request Form also shown below, in order to generate a more accurate calculation. In either case, no fee is guaranteed until Capital Authentication confirms same with you prior to any work being completed. In most cases, we are able to complete the authentication and return your documents to you in less time than requested. Unless you require authentication of your documents on an absolute “rush” basis, we recommend to our clients to choose a slower turnaround time to allow for a much more cost-effective rate. The below-noted turnaround times, and subsequent pricing chart are strictly for clients requiring AUTHENTICATION ONLY at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Development (DFATD/JLAC) . Turnaround Times:

• Same-Day

  This service is intended for clients who ABSOLUTELY require their document(s) to be immediately authenticated. We MUST receive the document(s) no later than noon on the day of authentication. Conditions may apply.

• 3-Day

  This service is intended once again for clients who require their document(s) to be authenticated immediately; however they have a few more days of flexibility. This service tenders a slightly reduced rate for “rush” service. Conditions may apply.

• 7-Day

  We highly recommend this speed of service for our clients, since it is extremely cost-effective and we are generally able to complete the authentication and return your documents to you in less than this prescribed turnaround time. This service also tenders a fixed rate for the first ten (7) documents being authenticated.

• 10-Day

  This is the most economical option we offer at Capital Authentication. This service is designed for clients who do not have any time constraints on the authentication of their documents. This service offers a fixed rate for the first ten (10) documents being authenticated. Although we guarantee a fourteen (10) day turnaround time, we are typically able to have your document(s) authenticated and returned to you in less than this prescribed time.
